The educational objective of this course is to prepare the trainee to teach effectively all phases of Cosmetology, Hair Design, and Barbering.

This course will help the student develop the ability to teach related information, manipulative operations, and techniques. Students will learn how to use various teaching aids such as instruction sheets, visual aids, and tests. To teach leadership, Student motivation, Student grading and counseling, class preparation, objective and lesson plan writing, and goal setting. Students will develop an appreciation of the necessity for constant effort towards achievement of professional competency as a teacher and personal characteristics that contribute to success in teaching.
